May 4th is known as Star Wars Day to many fans. It is based off the saying “May the Force be with you,” so fans pun-it-up with “May the Fourth be with you.”

May 4th was a few weeks ago, and to celebrate, Disney added new content on their streaming service Disney Plus. They added three new things for fans to watch: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Episode 9), Star Wars The Clone Wars: Victory and Death (Series Finale), and The Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The Rise of Skywalker is the Movie that concludes the Skywalker saga. The movie came out on December 20th 2019. It’s addition in Disney plus unites every movie in the Skywalker saga in the same place for the first time. In this movie Rey finally figures out who she is and the origins of her family. The Final battle for freedom occurs and the galaxy is free from the First Order’s Grasp.

Star Wars the Clone Wars: Victory and Death

This is the sad Series Finale of the show. The first 6 seasons aired on Cartoon Network and the last season (season 7) is a Disney plus exclusive. When the new season was announced, fans rejoiced. The last episode takes place during Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith. During order 66 (the event that killed many of the Jedi) Ashoka (A former Jedi) and Rex (a Clone Trooper who disobeyed his commands to execute order 66) try to escape with their lives as the galaxy is in chaos and as the Galactic Empire rises.

The Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian

What do Fans think of all of this new content?

Cade Robb, a Fan of the series said, “I am happy that released all the new Star Wars content to Disney plus. I think all of the Star Wars fans deserve it because star wars is a great franchise and they make a lot of good films and shows and it is good how they release it on May the fourth (Star Wars Day).”
